Joseph V. “Uncle Joe” Oresek, 84, of Hibbing, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Heritage Manor Health Care Center in Chisholm. Joe was born to Frank and Mary Oresek in Chisholm on Jan. 25, 1924, and graduated from Chisholm High School in 1942. He had been employed as a welding foreman at Minntac.
